Roles & Responsibilities

Primary Role

The EACD Education & Training Committee is installed to identify the needs for education and training across the European region, and to facilitate regular education and training initiatives bearing on all aspects of childhood-onset disabilities for the membership.

General Responsibilities

The EACD Education & Training Committee is responsible: 

  • To identify training and educational needs for the EACD membership and community.
  • To create and organise regular educational formats and events to address the identified education and training needs that are relevant to the membership, including but not limited: EACD Awards Celebration Event, Online events & Webinars, E-Courses.
  • To initiate and (co-)organise regular education and training opportunities stimulating excellence in research and good research practices at regular intervals, including but not limited to: EACD Summer School / Winter School, (online) “How-to" sessions or workshops.
